Klubbvik canal

Part of the fairway from the sea to Luleå harbour. When it comes to tonnage, Luleå is one of the biggest harbours of Sweden.


History:
This canal was built in the 1960:ies when bigger and bigger ships were used to come for iron ore at Luleå harbour.
During the 1970ies the canal was widened even more and now a draught of 12.2 meters is allowed.
